With more than 20 years of providing world-class EPC services and executing some of Indonesia’s industrious EPCM projects, we’re proud to become the go-to EPC provider that is trusted by our clients.
Being a subsidiary of Samator Group, the market leader in the industrial gas industry, our aspiration to innovate and deliver unparalleled value to our clients remains the same as our parent company. We know that the way we do things is important. We’ve made an effort since day one to center our business decisions around promoting renewable energy and implementing ethical practices, both of which are factors in who clients can trust for their projects.

Our History
1975
Samator group started its business activities in the gas industry in 1975. It was when Samator’s first acetylene factory was built. Samator Group entered the property business with its primary segment is to serve the internal needs, such as the construction of air separation plant (ASP) factory, filling station and warehousing. This is the embryo of the formation of Samator EPCM which will later transform into PT. Arohera.
1995
In line with the company’s growth and increased number of constructions works carried out by the Samator Group to meet its internal needs, the Samator EPCM was formed. Since 1995, Samator EPCM has worked on construction and installation projects within the Samator Group internal scope.
2012
As Samator’s business activities grew, and demand for construction works in the gas industry increased, the management decided to establish an independent EPC company. Samator EPCM was then transformed into a company and became one of the Samator Group’s subsidiaries. PT. Arohera was officially established in February 2012. In the early days of its establishment, PT Arohera was mostly engaged in executing internal projects and trading activities until late 2019.
2020-2021
During the period, Arohera began to set its pace by completing the various requirements and certifications needed to be able to participate in strategic project tenders. Arohera also recruits experienced and competent human resources in their fields to meet the needs of ongoing and future strategic projects. Several strategic projects during that period, such as liquefaction plant work in Rungkut Surabaya, CO2 plant in Bitung, VPSA O2 Plant in Bangka, and many others. Arohera was also involved in assisting the government in handling the COVID 19 outbreak with the Oxygen House project, PuloGadung Jakarta in 2021.
2022
In order to meet the qualification requirements of work quality and safety standards for strategic projects, in August 2022, Arohera obtained ISO certification for quality systems and work safety systems (ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018). In line with the increasing experience in handling projects, Arohera started targeting larger projects and a number of strategic projects are coming in 2023.

We are accredited as registered vendor of PERTAMINA (persero) and its affiliates and merited as HIGH in CSMS qualifications. The Certificate is available upon your request.

We are qualified as registered vendor of PT Petrokimia Gresik in Construction, installation, and maintenance of Oil & Gas equipment. The Certificate is available upon your request.

Our Commitment
Energy demand, a prerequisite for industrialization and economic development, is expected to rise in the future. At the moment, fossil fuels are the world’s primary energy source. Its use is harming the environment and causing serious problems for human health. Energy generated from clean, easily accessible sources would contribute to sustainability at a reasonable cost with no negative consequences. Biomass, solar, wind, and hydropower are examples of clean and sustainable energy sources. Clean energy supply accounts for 18% of total global energy demand in 2020, and its share is expected to rise significantly (30-80%) by 2100.
We believe in sustainable development at Arohera, as the company moves forward in harmony with its environment, employing environmentally friendly technology and producing cleaner energy for a higher quality of life. Arohera’s parent company, Samator Group, is at the forefront of assisting Indonesia’s renewable energy revolution. Samator Group installed a 1-Megawatt solar panel system (over 3000 solar panels) on its gas production plant in Bambe-Driyorejo, Gresik, in 2016. Samator Group will continue to add more solar power generators and expand its services in the future to fulfill the company’s commitment to providing clean energy for a better environment.
